The Moon Pi puppies are all placed now, and the Puddin' breeding did not take. I do plan a breeding the end of this year. I will post when I am expecting a litter.
Dr. Adams confirmed Moon Pi is pregnant and the expected delivery date is July 12, 2024. All the puppies will be black. Both parents are AKC Champions of record.
Date of the breeding was May 14th.
Date of ultrasound to confirm pregnancy will be June 7th. If pregnancy confirmed, they would be due on or before July 12th. Now how did this happen, you ask? I got going early to take Moon Pi to see Dr. Adams at her office in Atlanta and it took over 2 hours to arrive because of horrible traffic making me late for the appointment. I had no idea when Moon Pi came into season because there was no blood that I could see but Ace told me she was close. Boy was Ace right! We ran a progesterone test and the results said to breed her NOW. I called the owner of the stud and asked if he was available and off to Alabama we went. After the 3-hour drive, we arrived, and the breeding happened. On the four-hour drive home, I prayed for God's blessing on this breeding. She was bred to a beautiful black boy CH Rose's Rip Tide. Rip is true for black so all the puppies will be black. I will post the results of the ultrasound when it happens. Great week for Alcovy Pugs! Yoda who is owned by Cybill and Vallarie earned his championship is style going Breed from the classes for a 5-point major to finish. This was his second Breed win while being shown as a class dog. Yoda is out of CH Lordsett Jackpot and GCH CH Peachtree's Apple Pippa of Alcovy.
Meri, AKA CH Alcovy's Ms American Pi earned her AKC Championship in Perry, GA. She won winners and best of opposite sex. Meri earned the championship before she was a year old. She is out of CH Lordsett Jackpot and CH Alcovy Peachtree Moon Pi
Puppies arrived 3/15/2024 and she had 2 fawn girls. I will not know which one is available until they are 8 weeks old. If you are interested, you can fill out the questioner. I will not decide where a puppy goes until they are 8 weeks old.
They will have the first vet check on May the 7th. After that they will be evaluated to see if either of them is show potential. Then decisions will be made as to where the homes will be. . |
